A dedicated and dynamic professional with a global perspective, Nefeli is drawing from her international experiences, bringing a multicultural dimension to her work.
Having learned multiple languages as a hobby and having an academic background in the teaching of Modern Foreign Languages, Nefeli understands the mental connections necessary to learn a language. She loves drawing parallels between languages and uncovering patterns in order to help her students comprehend and remember vocabulary and grammar without sticking to dry rules.
Her qualifications, include a BA in Education (University of Patras, GR), a Post-Graduate Certificate in teaching Modern Foreign Languages (University of East Anglia, UK), and an MSc in Psychology (Northumbria University, UK). Currently, she is enrolled at the Department of Foreign Languages, Interpretation and Translation (Ionian University, GR).
Her studies have equipped her with an excellent understanding of language acquisition, learning needs and instructional scaffolding.
With over a decade of teaching experience, Nefeli’s passion and main focus is to break the language barrier. She has crafted a unique curriculum and innovative teaching methods designed for effective language learning with the focus of creating confident speakers.
